Abstract

Think about the mind: the relationship as path repairer of traumatic experiences in Borderline Personality Disorder.
Abstract  English version
The workshop aims to stimulate the participants in a discussion on the therapeutic work with clients diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). A clinical case, some theoretical AT contributions, integrated with different theoretical perspectives, the use of ad hoc movies, combined with small group experiences, will enable participants to reflect on the management of the world's social and emotional in clients with BPD. It will highlight the link between disorganized attachment, trauma and inability to build a representation of himself and other. Therapeutic work exhibited, will show how the integration of traumatic archaic experiences of the customer is possible within a relationship, which is the one with the therapist and the psychiatrist, through which is developed reflective function and self-narration of the Adult, making possible to think of his mind and that of the other.
